Adjustable trigger CZ75B sao
« on: May 08, 2019, 11:48:50 PM »
Ive had a CZ75B sao now for about 6 months,Shot several IDPA matches with it its great and Im still getting used to it.The only thing ive changed were a pair of thin stocks and the sights are kind of difficult to see.But Ive discovered that it has a adjustable trigger.Ive been shooting Glocks for so long I dont know whata good trigger is.
First of all how and why do you adjust the trigger. Is it to make it smoother or what.I also cant find any info on this .The CZ manual was useless. So help me out. Thanks inadvance.

When you say adjustable trigger, are you talking about the screws in the SAO trigger itself?

Those screws adjust pre-travel and over travel. They won't affect pull weight, only travel.

Most pistols have a certain amount of trigger movement before and after the hammer falls that waste finger movement and mess with some people's heads.

The screws on that trigger allow you to make adjustments that cause the screws to reduce that trigger movement distance.  But you have to do it right and you have to apply Loctite so that once you adjust them they won't move.

If not adjusted correctly you can end up with malfunctions if the trigger won't move back far enough to release the hammer or won't move forward far enough to let the trigger reset so you can fire the next shot.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

The stock SA trigger has an over travel screw only.  If you're interested in adjusting pre-travel you
would have to install a different trigger which has both.
