So far the only publication that I've seen Cooper talk about the CZ-75 is this issue of American Handgunner below, where Cooper mentions the CZ-75 as a viable alternative to the M9. Were there any other magazines or publications that Cooper talked about the CZ-75?

Since we're talking about Col. Cooper, I have to ask another couple of questions. How did he come across one since Czechoslovakia was behind the Iron Curtain? I know he liked the 75's ergonomics. The article in the link below mentions that Cooper thinks the 75, Bren 10  and the Hi Power had excellent ergonomics. In this video below, forum member hrfunk mentions that Cooper liked the fact that the CZ-75 could be carried cocked and locked, unlike the other DA autoloaders at the time like the Beretta 92, S&W 39/59 etc that had decocker levers or decocker/safety levers. Was the cocked and locked feature the main reason Cooper liked the pistol? Thanks!

"Jeff Cooper on Handguns"  https://www.amazon.com/Jeff-Cooper-Handguns-Experts-Handgunning/dp/082272121X

I don't remember if he said how he acquired one to evaluate in that book, but it was a good read!

I was kicking around back then and really think he made a few pithy remarks about it and people went wild with the comments.  Yes he primarily liked that it could be carried C/L and thus was not a crunchnticker = DA/SA.  That he used it for his Bren Ten design was the real compliment.
