I don't mind having to modify some things but when you're spending money with top name companies I expect the fit and finish to be top notch! This is not the first year production Scorpion, there's no reason these shouldn't be perfected by now. I hope you can modify it to get it to work but again, you shouldn't have to.
This is getting a little discouraging as it seems like a lot of aftermarket products (even some stock ones) are not well thought out for the Scorpion. As you said why didn't they test the products
before they sent them back out to you? Also, what possessed Magpul to make a 2 piece grip, one that doesn't have a storage area and a terrible fit?
Who at CZ thought that charging handle was a good idea along with the right side safety selector?

I mean the first time you hold the gun you can feel it digging into your hand along with that knuckle grating charging handle. Now add in the horrible stock trigger and grip, for $800 ish these things should've been addressed by CZ a few years ago. I can build a AR-9 pistol with better components a lot cheaper and with a lifetime warranty. Don't get me wrong I like the Scorpion and it's a fun addition to my collection but I can't see myself adding any more to my collection like my AR's which are never ending.
With that said I'd like to thank HBI as all the parts I received from them were top notch! The charging handle and Theta shoe fit perfect and the trigger spring kit makes a world of difference for very little money. All the time they take to make their videos and even re-make the trigger spring install with the color coated parts. That really helps show what's going on and where everything goes.
