Struck gold when I found this pistol... all of the ergos and features of the CZ75 design, with a superior single-action trigger and cleaner machine work than any of my CZs. So, why IWI shod this fine pistol with these clumsy, fat, slippery grips is beyond me.
I tried Hogues, and they provided traction, but may have been even a little thicker than the factory grips. So, putting function ahead of form, I textured the factory grips with a wood burner. I've ordered a set of Ridgerunners from Lok, and hear they're thinner, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Now, I just need to find someone to checker the front and back straps and do some other metalwork... then hard chrome. I would like a more substantial thumb safety, but no one is making them.
