Has anyone tried putting XS Sights on their Sphinx SDP Subcompact? I measured the stock sights of my Compact and Subcompact and they are the same height front and rear.
I currently have Meprolight TruDots on my Compact and Subcompact. They shoots a little bit low as the Meprolight TruDots have the same height rear, but have a higher height front sight.
Subcompact factory rear height: 10.84 mm (serrated mid w/black dimples)
Subcompact factory front height: 5.74 mm (black dimple, no white dot)
Compact factory rear height: 10.77 mm (serrated mid w/filled in white dimples)
Compact factory front height: 5.72 mm (painted white dot)
Meprolight rear height: 10.78 mm
Meprolight front height: 6.42 mm
KRISS USA was unable to help explain why aftermarket sights may change POI. They did however say the factory sights between the Subcompact and Compact are interchangeable. They can currently sell you a white dot front and white dots in the rear.
