Sig customer service
« on: July 27, 2019, 12:27:58 PM »
I've been bad mouthing Sig a little bit after having to return my 2 week old NRA edition p-365 for several failures to return to battery. Even after clearing the gun and with the magazine removed the slide was stuck open about a 1/4" Sig said that mine was a uncommon problem and asked for it to be retuned. The pistol was returned 7/23/19 and today I noticed a shipping notice saying it's repaired and on it's way home. WOW that is the fastest turn around time I've ever seen I can't wait to see what was replaced or repaired my bet is it was the recoil spring assy.

I too would like to hear what SIG did.
I got an early one (April 2018) and after SIG fixed it I just passed the 3,000 round mark today.
It's such a sweet shooter and so easy to pocket holster carry, I'm thinking of getting another to rotate as a spare.

My 365, built in February 2019, has been flawless after 700 or so rounds.  It is so easy to pocket carry.

yeah Sig CS is excellent. When I sent in my P320 TacOps full size, Compact and sub compact for the upgrade, I got them back in 2 weeks. I also sent in a used CPO P229 made in the 1990s for the Sig Service Plan. They went above and beyond adn replaced parts not covered for no charge. I will be sending in an old P226 soon for the same serivce.

My p365 was returned from Sig service today 1 week after sending it back for failure to return to battery. The service order said replaced recoil springs and test fired, no issues.  After a close inspection I noticed they had also replaced the barrel that makes me wonder what else was replaced.  Tomorrow I'll take it to the range and see if it's fixed.

I've always had excellent service from Sig's customer service.  I've had to send in 3 or 4 of my Sigs for either work or replacement and they've always backed their product 100%.

My complaint is that I've had to send in so many of my Sig's in for warranty work in the first place. Quality out the door should be better so that returns to Sig for work isn't necessary, or at least drastically reduced.

It's not fixed and I've returned my NRA edition p365 again This time I noticed the problem when it locked up on my second magazine the cover on the rear of the pistol that keeps the striker in place was sliding down keeping the slide from closing. I had not noticed it before and when I removed the slide it must have slid back in place. I also noticed several metal chips inside the concave side of the cover. I removed the cover cleaned and reinstalled it and it locked in place then failed again after about 100 rounds. On the brighter side my wife told me to try some duct tape it will fix anything.

My NRA edition Sig p365 has made it back from it's second trip to Sig service and this time I think it's been repaired. The barrel, recoil springs and striker housing have been replaced and they worked on the feed ramp. Today I fired 250 rounds with no issues and if I can get used to the combat sights it should make a great EDC pistol.

Thanks for the update.
All's well that ends well!
Mine just passed the flawless 3,000 round mark after SIG fixed mine.
It shoots so well for such a small gun. O0  -Enjoy
