Question on Tristar T-120 Dimensions
« on: September 10, 2019, 09:30:25 PM »
Hi all,
Wondering if the T-120 frame/grip was made thicker, due to being aluminum, like CZ did with the PCR and P-01 or if it is as slim as the 75B.  Basically I’d like to know if it’ll fit in my SP-01 holster (my PCR won’t due to slightly thicker frame).

Without measuring, I would have to say no, as my T-120 fits many holsters I have that will fit a Cz75B and Small Frame Tanfoglio Witnesses.

Bought a used-but-nice Frontline Kydex/Suede Holster for an SP01 off of ebay, and it fits my TriStar T120 perfectly.
It also fits my Cz SP01, as well, but I expected it would. No adjustments have been made for either Pistol.

I also recommend the Safariland Custom-Fit line.

YMMV!

Thanks for the reply.  That supports my observations, as in every picture I've seen, it looks to be flush with the slide, but I wasn't sure if maybe the slide was just fatter too or something.  The PCR and P-01 frames definitely extent wider than the slide enough to make holster compatibility with the steel frame CZ's not possible - on a nice kydex holster anyway.  I'm sure it's not enough to matter with leather, leather/kydex hybrid etc.
