So is Californias microstamping requirement being challenged in any courts?

Last time I heard, it is crawling it's way to the Supreme Court.. Someone is dragging their feet I think...

These CA laws are basically an end-a-round the Constitution in an attempt to practically ban firearms without explicitly doing so.

It's pretty clear to most people, that the intention of the micro-stamping requirement was to prevent the sale of any new model firearms in the California market. Its basically a back-door ban. They're hoping that over time (make no mistake, they're playing the long game here) as manufacturers develop new models, that the older ones will be discontinued and thus disappear from the market. Of course, criminals will get their guns somewhere else...

The same will be the case for the new ammo laws and tax (mark my words). All California legislators have to do, is increase the ammo tax to prohibitive levels or just make sure the background checks can't be done in a timely manner to effectively make any new ammunition impossible to get legally. Of course, criminals will get their ammo somewhere else...

They're (comifornia) intention is to ban guns completely, but for right now they're going to make it as nearly impossible and difficult to buy or sell one as they can.

Let it be known that you can in fact acquire pretty much any handgun that you want through Private Party Transfer (PPT). There are several legal ways that newer off list handguns make there way into California. One dose need to be willing to pay what i call the California Tax. It is the significant mark up on off list handguns due to low availability. I see used $400-500 P-Series pistols listed for $800-1,000 frequently. There is a New P-10C listed for $1,100 OBO at the moment. Money talks...

You can get a better idea of what i am talking about here.

Wondering why aren't the great CZ polymer pistols on the CA roster?  Is there something 'wrong' with these firearms?  Honest questions please do not flame.  I am genuinely trying to understand how certain CZs get approved (the process) while others are excluded.  Can someone explain?  As a new user I am trying to understand the bizarre CA 'approved' roster.  Thank you all for your patience and help sharing.  Cheers!
