Very nice!  It would be nice to see CZ import the shadowline compact again.

Very nice.

Do you live in Manila?

Just curious, what are the gun laws there?

I've been to the Philippines twice. Last time was in 2015, spent 6 weeks there. I plan to live there for 4-5 months of the year when I retire. My wife is Filipina. I've never really asked about gun laws. I know people own them.

I love that a lot police have empty holsters. I even saw a cop carrying a wood "gun" in his. My father in law explained that cops are required to buy their own weapon. Not sure if that's true. My FIL is a know-it-all and I've learned over the last 28 years that half the bleep he says is not true. LOL

Hi.

Yup.  Lately the gun laws were changed and made similar to European Gun Laws. Individuals have to secure a License to Own and Posses Firearms (LTOPF) and individual firearms purchases are registered in the persons name.

Requirements are quite tedious which includes Neuro Psychiatric exams and drug tests. A permit to carry firearm is also require to carry a loaded short firearm (pistol) on your person. ;)

Wonder why our politicians aren't required to take a Neuro Psychiatric exam? [emoji57]

Curious, does the slide have a firing pin block like an SP-01?

CZ Shadowline models have no FPB.

So what is the difference between a SP-01 Shadow and a SP-01 Shadowline other than grips? What is the price?

Hammer, Trigger, Slide markings, safeties, sights, guide rod, alum. grip, part of a series (SP01, Standard CZ75, Compact) of Shadowlines.

Pricewise almost the same, Shadowline slightly higher, also assembled  in CZ-UB vs. CZ-USA or CZ Custom? maybe for the Shadow.
