So this is my first thread here in the Rami Club. I acquired my BD model last week and am in the process of deciding which OWB holster to use. I hope it carries as nicely as my P365 did! Saturday I took it the range along with 200 rounds. I experienced no failures and it really did shoot very well and is very accurate especially when I do everything like I’m supposed to. Looking forward to spending more time with it! One comment I could make is of the 5 semiautomatics I’ve had, these magazines are the most difficult to load. Not spring pressure wise but the opening seems small like the round I’m loading is putting too much pressure on lead end of the round being pushed down. Very easy to tilt the lead end of the round I’m pressing on down instead of the whole round just lowering. Hope that makes sense.

Make your life easier and get yourself an Maglula UpLULA:- https://www.amazon.com/Maglula-ltd-UpLULA-Magazine-Unloader/dp/B01MQTZVZY
Even though it states for 9mm to 45acp I also have found it is OK to use for 380 acp magazines.

Those are nice and I do use one when I go to the range. I tend to take classes and the instructor gets a little grumpy when you ask if you can use one. He prefers you not saying you tend to not have one with you normally. I’m sure I’ll get a feel for it it just seemed finicky.

The 10 rounder especially is difficult to load. It will get a little easier with use and leaving it loaded for a while will help some. I like to carry the 10 rounder for easier concealment and a compact size 15 rounder in my pocket for back up. I keep hoping that Mec-Gar will come out with their anti friction blue follower design in a 10 rounder. These would be a definite improvement.

I’ve left my 10 rounder loaded up so I expect it will be more user friendly over time. I’m curious about that magazine you mention and the follower. Do you think it will be metal or plastic! After seeing the plastic ones on my P365, I’d prefer metal myself. At some point I changed how I load my magazines with plastic followers. I always load the first round by hand the switch to the magazine loader.
