New is not always better
« on: September 28, 2019, 01:35:04 PM »
For the last 90 days I've spent a lot of time and money trying to love and learn to shoot my new NRA edition Sig p365 well. My new p365 has been back to the factory twice for issues and is now 100%  I've replaced the X-ray sights with Speed sight night sights and fired over 1500 rounds. So Friday I loaded up my range bag with my three smallest quality 9mm pistols my p938, p365 and my Rami BD and had a little fun running timed drills with each gun. The gun that I haven't fired in over four months my Rami gave me the fastest times and smallest groups it's also the most fun to shoot. The Rami may be a little chunky and weigh a few more oz. than the Sigs but it's still my EDC.

I've been tempted by the 365XL, but I really like shooting/carrying my RAMI BD. It's a much nicer solution for CC than I thought it would be.

I had about 2,700 rounds through my P365 before trading it in for a Rami last week. Hope I like carrying the Rami as much as did my P365!!

Nice that you could run them side-by-side. Yeah...the Timer don't lie!
The only possible advantage the micro SIG's might have is for deep conceal.

I have about 600 rounds through my P365 with no issues at all. It's a fine little pistol, but I generally prefer to carry something larger (compact) than a micro, for several reasons. And I realize I'll just never warm up to strikers. Most of the time, that means my P-07 is the choice.

The Rami is chunky, but is the perfect compromise for a smaller pistol and shootability. There are several pistols that are more concealable, but fewer if any that shoot better.

Well I finally made up my mind. Wright Leather Works OWB holster for now and find an IWB for the warm months next year. Hope this all works out for me as I didn’t mind the P365. Mostly I know I’ll have to ignore the weight difference.

Can't go wrong with Wright.  ;)

Excellent holsters. I have one for my SP101 and it's top-notch.
