P10F Optic Ready vs P10C Milled Optic

Hi guys,

I'm looking to add a Vortex Venom to my P10C. I had the thought of sending my slide off to be milled($170-$350), but then saw a P10F slide appears to fit/function just fine on a P10C frame, and in fact it looks like CZ already has a P10SC utilizing this combo?

So now my thought process is wondering if I should just buy a P10F and have the option of a second gun, and another that's optics ready. Then as needed I could swap the slide onto my P10C?

I'll try and do some research on the P10F/C combo, but anyone have long term test results?

I have been running an F slide on a C frame for some time.  I've shot a couple matches with it.  It is not an optics ready slide.  However, if the question is how does an F slide function on a C frame over time, my experience is it functions just fine.
