CZ P 10-C Front Sight Replacement
« on: December 19, 2019, 06:40:10 PM »
Trijicon has graciously sent a replacement HD Front Night site to me and has offered to replace it for free.  I’m looking at the sight and a see a Allen screw and I’m thinking I can change this, it looks so simple!  What could go wrong?  Think of all the time and trouble I could save by doing it myself.

So before I begin this project I humbly ask that anyone with any experience changing out front sights to please pass any advice and recommendations on the hows and ifs I should proceed with this project.  I fear if I start this project,  my new pistol may end up in the death bin with all my dismantled broken cell phones  :-[

If it's already had the sight replaced, it should be a piece of cake. The OEM front sight is usually very difficult to remove, often destroying it. Remove the screw and tap it out using a wood block. After fitting, clean the dovetail and threads, add some blue loctite and reinstall.
