On my .45 Super Conversion for my .45 EAA Witness, I've used a Sprinco Recoil Reducing Guide Rod, with excellent results.

On my Steyr L9A1 and S&W SW9VE pistols I have the DPM Recoil Systems and they've made the operation of these Pistols a bit smoother.
Particularly, the SW9VE.

I've never bothered with them on any of my other 9mm Pistols, particularly Cz and Tanfoglio, as the recoil is not bothersome on those.
Recoil was not really bothersome on the L9A1 and SW9VE, either, but I did like the smoother operation.

I use the Springco in my CZ ,75 and love it. It works especially well in Classic Dogs.
