Shadow 2

It’s done.  Bought new for $1135, that’s $ all in (minus transfer fee).   Sweet deal.  Any recommendation or suggestion for tricking it out?

Clean, lube and shoot the crap of it first then upgrade base on your needs I.e. recoil and main springs, extended firing pin, reduced power firing pin spring, trigger return spring etc.

That’s pretty much what I did.  Function tested it, then changed out the four springs and the firing pin and trigger pin.  Continued to shoot it.  Grips got changed out to Loks since they provided more traction than the AL grips.  Continue to shoot it much more.

Coming up on my first year, will probably change out the TRS and firing pin spring as preventative maintenance.  Have backup slide stop in parts kit along with spare extractor and extractor spring.

+1 for the Lok grips!  Added the Palm Swell Bogies to my Shadow 2...  They are awesome

As for modifying your new Shadow 2, here is a little light reading.

I had an optical sight done by Cajun Gunworks, I can highly recommend talking to them.

10 pound recoil spring 11.5 pound hammer spring extended firing pin and light firing pin spring and the T-5 you may want a different set of grips depending on you hand size then just shoot it and enjoy it I have mine set up like this and it eats anything you put in in and spits it out
