Sphinx SDP might be a good option, it's "Swiss made", so should be good. The only disadvantage might be lack of parts...
The Sphinx SDP is no longer made in Switzerland. It's now made in the U.S. by Kriss, which moved production here. (The Swiss company Kriss AG owned Sphinx and when Sphinx went under -- as Sphinx has done several times -- Kriss AG moved production of the Sphinx line to a its subsidiary in the U.S., Kriss USA. Kriss USA makes a number of long guns and SBRs, and they're apparently highly regarded and much in demand. (That demand has caused Kriss to focus more on those guns than the Sphinx line.)
The Sphinx SDP is a more-refined gun than the P-01, but it's also more costly. While there are more aftermarket parts for the P-01, you may not want to do much upgrading or modifying to the SDP. About the only thing you really need with a Sphinx is some different (lighter) springs. (P-07 and P-10 mags will work in the SDP, and are cheaper.)
I've not owned a P-01, but have owned several 75B Compacts (steel frame/safety.) I like the lighter weight of the alloy-framed models, but really prefer the safety. Were I looking for another metal-framed compact model, I'd probably look for an Omega-based compact CZ, and use a safety. It's been years since I last owned a metal-framed compact CZ...
I have a Sphinx SDP, which I like a lot, and a CZ P-07, and they are actually "perform-alike" guns; the SDP is a slightly better gun, but for the money many would consider the the P-07 as much bang for a lot fewer bucks. The grip design of the SDP is better (more flexible), and it's a slightly upgraded version of the basic CZ design. If I had to choose between a tuned P-07 (Cajunized) and a similarly tuned P-01, I'd probably go with the P-07.
