Shadow 2 trigger adjustment?
« on: December 15, 2019, 01:38:51 PM »
Was just dry firing a Shadow 2 at the local store. There’s a little place on the trigger I noticed. Sales guy said it was so you could adjust the trigger. When I asked “adjust it how”. He said that the placement of the trigger bar could be brought back for less travel and shorter pull.

Can someone verify.

Are you talking about the set screw on the trigger face? If so, that's the overtravel adjustment screw.  It limits rearward travel when it contacts the frame behind the trigger.

It doesn't affect trigger break at all, just the amount of allowed rearward trigger movement after the break.

Yep, after doing some reading, I realized that it was the overtravel screw. Sales guy didn’t have a clue.

This happens more than it should.
