Stainless ambi safety removal
« on: December 18, 2019, 12:15:04 PM »
Hi,
I've got a stainless 75b with the ambi safety. How do I remove the right hand safety? The right safety lever has a blind hole not a through hole for the safety "shaft".
Thanks,
           Mark

Both levers pull out when the sear spring is lifted and disengaged from the slot.  There's a couple of youtube videos that will show you how. Putting back in that right lever is a bit annoying.

Removed the slide, lift the forward leg of the sear spring out of the safety lever shaft, wiggle the left side safety lever out. Let it be known that if you remove both sides of the safely levers the sear cage will come out.

You can use the red tube from a compressed air duster can and stick it on the sear spring leg to get control of it if you have one handy.
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)
