Two different pistols.  If you are going to compare anything, then you need to compare a shadow 2 to a shadow 2 orange or better yet the Accushadow 2 from CZ Custom.  The first generation shadows have a different frame geometry and shorter barrel.

The orange line of CZ pistols comes from the factory with hand fit slide to frames and all the race goodies generally.  I believe the shadow orange also comes with a custom 1911 style removable bushing to tighten up the accuracy as well.  You might want to spend some time here perusing the offering from CZ:  https://cz-usa.com/product-category/handguns/competition-handguns/

Cheers,

I have the SP-01 Shadow Orange (sku 91764) not the Shadow 2 Orange and I love it. As I understand this model, it is a SP-01 Shadow sent to CZ Custom who then does their thing which makes it an Orange. The barrel matching and precise slide side setting is by CZ.
CZC then does a custom trigger job, polishes the barrel, short reset disconnector, extended firing pin and 2075 pin spring, 11# recoil spring, 13# main spring, orange grips, aluminum base pads in orange, defender type rear sight, fiber optic front sight and the CZC Ghost hammer.

One of the main reasons I chose this model is that it is close in weight to my DW 1911s. That said this SP-01 Shadow Orange I shoot far better than any of my 1911s. I also own a 75 Bull Shadow which I love as well.  Each of these CZs have approx. 4,500 rounds through them and they have been trouble free since day one! Since I have acquired these two CZs the 1911s are rarely taken to the range.

I should also add I don't carry, I don't compete, I just go to the indoor/outdoor range two to three times a week and shoot my guns! It is my favorite hobby!
Just sayin'!
