P10-C early production S/N, What Number approx did production start?

 As I posted on my introduction to this great site, I'm a newbie to CZ's but, I've been doing my research and apparently CZ has undertaken a few "Mods" on the original issue P10c resulting in Gen1 through Gen4.
 
 My dilemma is whether or not to take my NIB 2017  91524 (FDE, Night Sights) which doesn't have any of the "Mods" to the range or better to leave it in its' original state as the start of the new collection and shoot something else? (I immediately liked the feel of my first P10c so much that I bought another one...call me OCD but don't tell my wife..).

The S/N of the 2017 Safe Queen begins C203XXX also has the "P" in circle roll mark on barrel, slide and frame.

 The 2018 NIB  91523 (Suppressor Ready, Black, high Tritium) that I bought to feed my OCD doesn't have the "P" in circle and has S/N C741XXX. This piece has the Slide cover notch at 3 O'Clock so, at least gen.2?

 Does anybody have info or earlier (numerically) Serial Numbers

My first gen P10 serial #C182XXX also with the circle "p" has over 20,000 rounds through it. I don't feel what you have is very rare and I don't expect these guns to become very collectable. I would shoot and enjoy the one you have.

Thanks for the response, you're probably right but I've made the mistake before and wanted to be sure. Even though I've heard that CZ may not follow a strict Serial Number/ Date of Production protocol, the fact that your pistol S/N is 21 thousand lower than mine indicates that mine isn't an especially low S/N ergo, probably common. Great!! My new favorite range gun!!

FWIW, in 1980 I was living in W. Germany, my brother wanted me to arrange shipment of some type of German made 9mm Pistol to him in the US.  The gun shop was in Oberndorf am Neckar (H&K Factory there) and the shop owner naturally suggested the "just released" H&K P-7 (PSP). So, that's the one I shipped...but my Bro doesn't like the cocking strap on the front of the grip (it has an audible 'Click') so, he buries it un-fired in the safe and to this day,.. that's where it sits...brand new...40 years later. I just saw one used on GB with no paperwork and a rough box for $3500.00. Do you think that my brother may let me have it back for the $250.00 I paid for it? lol

My P10C is C190XXX and was one of the first in the area AFAICT.  I don’t think there’s much in the way of collectibility on those but who knows what the market will be like in 35 years.  The value I hold in mine is in shooting it.  It’s only hovering around the 4K mark but I’m hoping that count climbs substantially over the years.

Hi, thanks for the response. That's about what I was figuring, little to no collector appreciation.. and I'm okay w/ that. In 35 years?..well, in 35 years I'll be 100 Y.O. probably wondering what my name is and who stole my horse..

4000 rounds down-range IMHO is a respectable number, it's important to give 'em regular exercise elsewise they get flabby and dis-respectful..next thing you know you get "Scope-bit" or a full mag. just drops out or you have new scars on your knuckles and your wife starts to wonder if you "going to the range" is such a good idea...
