P10C Plus 2 Mag Manual failure to feed.
« on: February 13, 2020, 03:01:38 PM »
I’ve had my plus 2 (17 round mag) for 2 years. The other day I was racking a round in the chamber to carry and had a manual failure to feed.

Haven’t had a chance to test it at the range with live fire. Last time I shot it with this mag was early last summer and it was 100%. No change in carry ammo (Sig V Crown) always hand cycled without issue.  15 rounders hand cycle without issue.

Is it time for a new follower or spring or both?

I’ve had jams with those sig v crowns before. More so with the stock barrel than the primary machine barrel, I’ve also had them jam in the PM barrel though. I would change Ammo.

Cool. I just got some Gold Dots and HST’s. I’ll try those.

I also had a similar issue with 147gr Speer Lawman, which is a flat nose bullet.  No issues with 124gr lawman or 147gr HSTs.
