CZ SP01 Upgrades
« on: April 18, 2020, 04:42:12 PM »
What other upgrades be good for my SP01? Have changed trigger hate recurved trigger put floating trigger pin in and spring kit. Thinking definitely need short reset like I did 97B with pro kit. Also hammer sear sites. What about bushing upgrade worth it? Is it easy enough to install? Other thoughts?
Thanks in advance

What is bothering you that with wish to improve specifically?
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

Nothing really other than reset is long after getting use to my 75B custom shop and 97B CGW pro upgrade. But wanted to know best upgrades available? Sites could use little help for old eyes. Wondering what else others do to their guns how they like changes.
Thanks

My order of preference for da/sa action upgrades:

Original 85c trigger
Tune recoil spring/buffer
Ultra lite kit
Action polish
Short reset kit
Grip's
Comp hammer
Adjustable rear target sight
Dawson fiber optic front sight
Barrel bushing
Guide rod

If a single action only gun then the list shrinks:

Tune recoil spring/buffer
Grip's
Comp hammer
Adjustable rear target sight
Dawson fiber optic front sight
Barrel bushing
Guide rod

This is geared toward tuning for competition.

Cheers,
Toby

Thanks for reply I have done trigger, guide rod, grips. Gonna do rest planned on except bushing thinking bout it. Does bushing a lot and is it hard to change at home? Mine is SA DA gun thought bout making SA only but didn’t. What bout FPB removal hadn’t decided if good idea on range gun though my 75 B custom has been done.
Thanks again

I wouldn't remove a firing pin block.  If you want a gun without one then purchase a shadow variant.  It is illegal to remove a safety device if you plan on shooting competition, it also isn't a the best way to sell a gun.  The shadow variants don't have them to begin with.

The bushing isn't that difficult a job.  It does take some diligence/attention to make sure you line up the front sight pin groove properly.  I'd order an extra front sight pin (or two).  I'd shoot the gun a bunch and see if it meets your accuracy needs first.

Cheers,
Toby

Thanks for help I just ordered pro kit upgrades from CGW less trigger I already done. My bushing feels pretty tight no wiggle on barrel at lock up. I also got fiber optic front site I like lot better.
Thanks
