P-01 Sights

Thinking about replacing the front sight on my P-01. Has anyone done this and left the factory rear sight?

I would either leave the rear sight with the green dots or black them out. CGW website says its the exact same height as factory front sight. Will this set up be effective? Or should I also replace the rear sight with this set up.. https://cajungunworks.com/product/ezd-9-40-for-9mm-and-40-sw/

I did that with my P-01, replaced the front sight only with the fiber optic Dawson, and blacked out the stock rear sight and I am very pleased with the results. Give it a try!

If CGW confirms the height is the same, nothing to worry about !
I bought Meprolight front sight for my P-01 Omega. Left stock rear sight, just used Sharpie to dim dots.
Front sight had exactly the same height as factory and didn't changed POI at all.
