SBR Scorpion Evo S1 in Maryland?

Hello all,
I am in Maryland and looking to SBR a scorpion Evo 3 S1.   

I bring up Maryland as the issue I am having is that Maryland sbr requires an Overall Length of >29”, so I need another 2+ inches to make it MD SBR legal.  I have seen folks add a pad to the stock, others also make  changes to muzzle device.   

Candidly, I am not sure it’s worth it to SBR when there are decent cheek rests/braces that don’t require the stamp.    I do have a suppressor that I should hopefully get in next month or so, but it will not be just on this Scorpion.  Also have the 922r parts covered. 

Questions: 

1) I haven’t been able find a stock that extends that (roughly 13.5”) far...any ideas?
2) I saw a build of the Scorpion Carbine where they changed out the standard barrel for a shorter barrel and attached a suppressor that fit within the hand guard.   Are there other barrels out there for longer than the 7.72 S1 but shorter than the carbine barrel?
3) has anyone else sbr’d in Maryland and can weigh in?

Seems like it might not be worth it but would love your insights...

Magpul Magpul Zhukov and ACR Stocks extend out a good distance and look great on Scorpions.

The measurement is with it fully extended right?. Folding Adapters could maybe add a little length also.

Any luck figuring this out?

I can’t seem to get a straightforward answer from anyone. Some say it has to be 29” and others are saying no 26”. I emailed the state police but have not got a response.

My goal was to run the Zhukov but my overall length would be 26 1/2”. It would be nice if someone made spacer block to put between the back of the scorpion and the adapter.
