I DO NOT like having to unscrew and re-loctite the guide rod though, kinda a pain.
Buy a stainless guide rod from CGW and go to an upcaptured set up. That's what I did on my P-07.

I say buy the DPM Recoil Reduction Guide Rod System which has two springs and a guide rod. I doesn't look like this set up would ever weaken.

They are coil sprung so yeah they will weaken but some guys like them. There are also additional moving parts in that set up and recoil doesn't bother me anyway. My set up work just dandy.
