They are a good little plinker (friend has one), although not as accurate as the Mk-series pistols. The hardest part of shooting was getting used to the backwards safety (up to fire).

Nice!  8)  I've been considering one of those SR22's.  I've got a Ruger MkII that I've been shooting for decades.

Congratulations!  :)

I recently sold my SR22 EX with the longer barrel. Got as a plinker but our range outlawed metal targets like shooting trees, cans, etc.  :(
I got almost what I paid for it less FFL commission so I got my money's worth of fun with it.
Really had no problems in 2000+ rounds. Nice gun, well made but the rear adjustable sight was kinda flimsy IMO.
Seemed to like HV better than SV ammo, but you won't go wrong with CCI Mini-Mags.
Enjoy!

Don’t shoot mine much but can’t seem to let go of it.

Bought some shotshell for it, but not enough powder to cycle it.

But it’s a nice little pistol with all the grip options. Takedown is weird with the fixed barrel.
Used to own a CZ Jawa...

I've had mine quite a while now. I just cleaned it from giving my grandson some shooting lessons. I get a charge out of shooting it too.  ;D Good luck with your new plinker!

Yeah it is.  I’m teaching my wife on that gun and had to bust out the manual to figure out why the trigger just went limp when taking off safe.  Nice little gun and it makes her happy so there we go.
