22 hornet and enforcer powder ?
« on: December 16, 2019, 08:11:19 PM »
Time for me to reload my number 3 ruger and am thinking about ramshot enforcer for powder. Anybody use this powder for the hornet. Any results or tips? I neck size and prep brass for my hornet. Just wondering about powder and primers. Thanks.
 Merry Christmas all.

I haven’t tried enforcer for the 22 Hornet, but I have had good results with Lil Gun.  I use Remington 6 1/2 primers, 12.5-13 grains of powder, and 35 grain Hornady V max bullets in Privi and Remington cases.  This has been an accurate load in two CZ 527 rifles I’ve tried it in.

I have 2 other hornets that I load for and have found fast accurate loads for. I guess I'll wade into the waters and see if enforcer powder is any good. I'll report any progress later.

Well,  I think enforcer powder was a bust for my hornet. Worked up loads. 2 grains at a time.  Tried 3 different rifle primers,  two pistol primers. Tried moving the bullet closer to the rifling, but the best I could get was around 1 moa. I'll move on to something different.
