Should run great. I've only fire 2 mags worth in a USPSA match when I borrowed some ammo but shoot matches with plenty of guys running this ammo in their CZ. It's nice shooting ammo. Marketed to USPSA competitive shooters.

It's great ammo, but really geared towards the competition user.  I'm assuming you don't really mean total metal jacket - since the syntech is a synthetic jacket.

It's nice and soft shooting, but if you're running stock springs, you may have some issues cycling.

Since you mention you are new to firearms, what is driving you to that specific round?

It's currently the only round i can order haha. I live in nj and everything else is sold out. Im going to take a trip to the gun store tomorrow, see if they have something else in stock. Thank you

I don't have the SP-01, but I have run this ammo through my P-07 without issue.  As stated here by others, it is geared towards competition and designed to be as soft-shooting as possible while still meeting USPSA requirements.

I shot some steel plates with some of this, as well as the 147gr Syntech, and I found it quite a bit harder to knock a plate over with this stuff compared to the 147gr.  I actually prefer the 147gr for my purposes because it feels more like the 147gr HST's I carry.

Also I have had a couple of dead primers in the Syntech ammo, which is reportedly a known problem with their lead free primers in certain batches.

Did it fire on a re-strike???
If I had known how much better being retired is than working I would have done it FIRST.

No, the primers didn't detonate after multiple re-strikes, and had nice looking dents in them from my firing pin.

Most people have good success with this ammo, but if you look around you can find the occasional review indicating similar issues:

If I could give no stars, I would. I usually love Federal, and carry HSTs, but this run of 147s is garbage. About 10% of what I shot today of this round were FTF. QC fell asleep on this run.

Not too great. 1 out of every 10 was a dud. CZ p10c and a cmmg carbine. Primers strikes looked good.

Maybe they're still working the bugs out of these lead-free primers.  It doesn't bother me at the range, but I wouldn't want these primers in my carry ammo.
