Next week I will be.
But I live about 950 miles north of there.

There are so many ranges in the DFW metro area I bet but dio not know for sure you could find a match during the week.

Good luck sir!

I had a similar decision to make. My LGS had Shadows 2 and one P-01 in stock. Loved the Shadow 2 but I shoot a lot “retired”  :), the Shadow 2 is over 5 pounds loaded the P-01 is under 3 pounds loaded. The extra 2 pounds was the deciding factor on why I went with the P-01. On the waiting list for CGW. Don’t think you can go wrong with either decision.

P-01 is a great duty-sized pistol. I'd go with that all day long over the plastic offerings out there.  Congrats

I'm absolutely going with the TSO.  Trying to tuck a bit of $$ aside each month so I can pay cash and not increase the balance on my CC.  However, my patience is being tested more and more each day.  I'm fighting the urge to just whip out the plastic and be done with it.  And its even harder when my CC company keeps increasing my limit.  Dam you, Citibank...dam you.

I'm building up an SP-01 SAO 9maj gun right now because I cant/don't want to afford a TSO, and I love modding things. I had an S2 and sold it because I just like the SAO triggers.
What I REALLY wanted to do was find a TS (not the orange), and build on that, but they don't make those anymore, just the TSOs. Some folks do not like the thumb rest, optic mount and magwell that comes with the "O", so... to me that kind of negates the "O" factor. I figure with a starting price of 600, I can get pretty close to what I want for another 500 or so. Guess we will see.

One other thing I just noticed is that the TSO sear cage is sprung, pretty neat feature.

Cant wait to try it out with the Federal Syntech 9mm.   A review is probably pointless on a pistol this well established, but if its anything besides "WOW",  or it doesn't play well with the Syntech, then I will post something in the range report sub-forum detailing my woes.  I'm hoping for "WOW"

Also, I went ahead and ordered a Dan Wesson DWX straight from CZ since I get a really good First responder discount over MSRP.  Hoping that one is "WOW" as well.

That is one sweet looking handgun. I just converted my Shadow 2 SAO with CGW S-2 package minus the disconnector. Maybe I will step up to the TSO one day.
