I just called and spoke to the customer service at CZ and I'm uploading pictures but they told me it's probably the tool marks they purposely leave on the frame to identify which CNC machine it came from in case there's a problem so there might be one two or three of those little mix the frame to identify that

Is the top of the frame rail ever in contact with the slide, or anything else?

I have a Shadow 2 purchased in December 2019.  The inside of the frame, including the rails on both sides, are a uniform matt black finish with no tool marks.
