PX4 Compact project complete

I’ve had this thing for a while and finally gotten everything done, thanks to two good friends who were up to a friendly challenge. Okay, that, and a few cold drinks and a few greenbacks! [emoji23]

Took my everyday, run-of-the-mill PX4 Compact model that I purchased used for cheap and made a few changes to include the following:

• DAO Conversion.
• LTT 11# Mainspring (about a 7 1/2# to 8# trigger pull now).
• Grip stippling.
• Bobbed hammer.
• Right side slide stop/release lever delete.
• Ameriglo CAP Tritium w/Orange outline front sight.
• “Dead” Stealth decock levers for as slim a slide profile as possible (since cant really remove them).
• Remove rear sight white dot inserts.













Can’t wait to get back home and shoot it this weekend!

Pretty sweet. I picked up a beat up compact in a trade and shot it and the very first mag I landed every shot on a 12x20 target at 25 yards away. I was incredibly impressed but got an offer for almost double what I had into it so she went!

Nicely done. I have 2 Compact carry models. They come with Beretta's competition trigger group installed, dropped in the LTT 11 pound spring. They're both setup as "G" versions. Smooth DA and clean crisp SA trigger. The one I carry has the stealth levers, my range/practice pistol has the 92 style decocker levers.

What did you use for a stipple job?  (looks good, I've been wanting to do that)

For the hammer and conversion, used an all-in-one OEM “D” model hammer unit assembly, but with the LTT 11# mainspring.

I believe that the guy that does my stippling uses a soldering iron. He also did the grip work on what is now my son’s Gen 4 Glock 19, pictured below.
