sear safety leg modification for CZ SP01 first version
« on: January 09, 2022, 08:30:10 AM »
Recently I have installed a new competition hammer, new disconnector in order to reduce the trigger pre-travel, new sear since the former  one had been machined along with the former hammer by a gunsmith in order to fix a problem of the hammer-following-the-slide.

So everything brand new and everything has worked terrific.  The trigger pull has improved (lighter and crisp), the pre-travel is down to 2mm now.
I can group shots a lot better and overall I have a better feeling with the gun.

Anyway when I tried to set the safety, it would snap in (nice and crispy) when the hammer is half cocked but with the hammer is fully cocked there is no way to engage the safety.

By searching the forum I found out the the new sear would require a slight adjustment (either the sear safety leg or the safety lever itself).  In some of the topics are mentioned also links to specific topics intended as a guidance to the sear safey leg modification but any link seems dead and doesn't work.  I searched further the forum but with no avail.

I would be very grateful for some help.
Either Pictures/instructions about how to modify the sear in order to make it work with the new hammer  Or else point me toward a functionin thread that may explain it.

Thanks in advance
