I have a P-01 with a ca. 2007 Crimson Trace laser grip. Of course, the bastards at  Smith & Wesson took over Crimson Trace a few years ago and ceased production of Laser Grips for the CZ 75s, full size and compact, in favor of their own lousy brand and Bersas, etc.

Tried to replace the batteries the other day and saw that they are held in place under a cross-shaped piece of plastic, unlike more modern Laser Grips where the batteries simply snap in from finger pressure. Of course, my CZ 75 Crimson Trace manual is long since lost, and, thanks to the bastards at S&W, there are none published on the internet. I don't want to do anything to break this thing because it's basically irreplaceable at this point.

Anyone have any ideas how to replace the batteries on this before I dive in and break something?

Thanks!

Should just slide out from under. If not i think optics planet still has the downloadable pdf.
When did it change from "We the people" to "screw the people"?

Why use 911 when it's faster to use 1911 or 9mm?

Found this that is a pdf that lists lots of models and parts diagram breakdown
CZ 75 FULL-SIZE & COMPACT (LG475/LG476) is second one down.
16 CZs and counting

Mine’s not quite like that (the battery covers) but hopefully it’s the same general idea.

ETA: OK, finally figured it out once I used a magnifying glass - each battery had a lid on a hinge that had to be pried open ('pry open here") at a certain spot to open it up to replace the batteries.
