Original CZ 1911A1 models
« on: June 16, 2020, 12:32:54 PM »
I have an original CZ 1911A1 that is like new. It has had less than 100 rounds down the pipe.
I am getting older and not as comfortable shooting the 45 ACP firearms as I used to be. So I think I will try to sell the pistol.
I have no idea what the original CZ 1911A1 is selling for today. Can anyone help me out with pricing or steer me to where I can get more information?
Thank you.

I'd say you can try start with $1,000. But they sometimes go between $940 - $970.
If you find CZ collector he can pay even more than $1,000.

There is one auction on GunBroker for used model. You can check it in next few days how the price goes.
I've also found new one at the same website, but $1850.00 seems to be a little crazy....

Blue Book of Gun Values currently lists the A1 at:

95% $575
90% $500

This may actually be a bit low considering the current times and that, I believe, this is an all bar stock and no MIM 1911.

I’ve been watching these waiting for the right timing. The price I have seen these go at is 700-800 shipped. CZ fans will potentially pay more but I have seen the ones where people are asking 1k sit. We are in weird times though.

I sold mine a couple years ago for just what I paid for it new. Sometimes they bring a bit more but if anyone is waiting for them to achieve Colt Snake gun status you may have a long wait. They are not anywhere near a US Military original and really are nothing more than just another mil-spec 1911 copy which the market is flooded with.
Mine was a great shooter and very reliable after some initial adjustments.

I have one and paid about $800 for it.

The collectible value is that the limited edition batch were the first CZs made in the USA by Dan Wesson (bought by CZUSA).
