I'm no Joe L who is super impressive with his shooting. But I wanted to post a couple shots after sticking some new sights on my P-09 40 S&W just for fun.
I bought this P-09 used and got a good deal on it last year (guy hated 40S&W) - I have added a P-09 22 kadet conversion for it.
I didn't like the front sight on the Kadet and tried a couple fiber optics which I couldn't get to work for me - either too high or too low..
Long story short - I ordered 2 sets of Night Fision sights - U rear black and orange circle up front - full set on the 40 slide and only the front sight on the Kadet (rear Night Fision sat too low in the Kadet)
Forgot to take pics of the Kadet targets- but this sight set is working out for me.
Yes not 100yds - only 5 - 7 yards but hey I think I did all right
I usually don't shoot handgun much more than 9 yards unless I'm at the GSSF indoor shoots and then we go I believe 8.3,16.6, 25 yards...(i had to convert all to yds lol my range is in feet and use to that.
First three pics are the first shots with new sights and 165gr Federal Range Target Practice Ammo at a slow pace - last 2 pictures are at rapid fire
Rapid Fire - under 5 sec mentioned in the drill - did both circles in probably that time or right around there (no timer just me thinking I was John Wick)
I probably went a little too fast on the final target
