Ok, we know that my little Czech friend is now wearing his birthday present, a SIG MSR green dot...and his new name as the Green Eyed Goblin...

So today I braved the heat, (actually got sick at the end and had to leave), but with the dot, we have success at 200 yards!
First, up with the flag at the range!!!

I started with my cast load. First round jammed so hard that when I pulled it out, the bullet stayed in the lands. Using my handy dandy supplied BREN 2 cleaning kit, it was child's play getting that one out. However, I need to look into loading them slightly shorter.
BTW, do you know how far 200 yards is? Arrow to see the target.

At 200 yards, with the 129 cast NOE...8 out of 10 on target!

I'll take it. But then I switched to my SD/HD/Hunting load, a 123gr Hornaday Spire Point over 27 grains of Accurate Arms # 1680. As Sulu would say..."Oh, my."

That is ten out of ten. Not bad for an 11 inch barreled pistol and a cheek rest! Me happy, me very happy, and YUGE thank you to my best friend.
