New P-09 coming

I put one in lay-away this morning for $495 NIB at a LGS.  Black frame and it has the 5.15" threaded barrel but no tall suppressor sights.  I didn't know CZ configured them like this but it is a nice surprise.  There are no extended mag bases like my 3 year old P-07 came with.  I'll have it in a week if the sale of my S&W FS M&P goes through otherwise add another week.  It fits nice in the AIWB holster that my P-07 rides in.  Trigger is as good as my P-07 which makes me happy. 

I'll see where it shoots on paper and add a Dawson FO front sight like I have on my P-07 which I really like.

Love my P09, bought it when CZ first introduced them to the market back in '12 or '13.

Recently added CZ custom F/0 front and their Htac rear sight, made a huge difference.

Great choice. I love the P09 and it is my favorite full size duty handgun for sure. I have three of them, so I really like them. The black P09 with threaded barrel and standard sights was the orginal supressor ready model and it was discontinued in 2016. Then the UG/SR series came out with the SR sights.

I have a p09 and 40 Smith and Wesson and it's actually one of my best shooting guns I 90% shoot it though with a 22 cadet and I love that thing it is amazing.

I actually like shooting my suppressors with regular sights mostly because when I'm not using the suppressor I can just you have regular sights and not very tall ones and I don't have to replace anything if I don't want to.  I always use my suppressor at the gun range for just target practice and fun so I like to just be able to shoot at the target I don't need to hit better than a minute of pie plate but I usually do all you have to do is aim through the suppressor with the regular sites and you'll be just fine I'd rather have regular sites than the tall suppressor height sites


I did voice to text on this and when I reread it man there's so many mistakes but it's so much to modify while I'm drinking beer outside so I'll just leave it and stop posting while I'm drinking and voicing the text
