Sweet!  What all did you have done to it?
Absolutely love my 97B(E)...I shoot it better than any $3000+ 1911 I’ve owned.

SAO trigger and race hammer were installed.

I also have 1911s and other 9mm pistol that cost more than twice this 97B. This 97B shot as good as my 1911s. And that was before the work done by CGW. I got this 97B a year ago and does not even have 500 rounds thru it.

Congratz, looks great. I too prefer my 97B to my 1911s! I did my sao conversion with a red CZ TS trigger, competition hammer and cgw sear. You have me considering blue grips now, for patriotic effect.  8)

Please give us your evaluation of the new trigger.  Inquiring minds want to know. Best.

Please give us your evaluation of the new trigger.  Inquiring minds want to know. Best.

Due to scarcity of ammo, I have only taken this 97B to the range once. I have shot 100 rounds thru it since the trigger and hammer were installed. If I remember it correctly, the trigger has gone down to 3.6 lbs from 4.8. The combination of a nice trigger and heavier weight than my 1911s, make this is a very pleasant gun to shoot. And very accurate too. Again, because of the trigger and the comfortable grip.

I can highly recommend the changes done on my 97.
