Kadet sights is just not for my eyes
« on: September 21, 2020, 06:58:31 AM »
Hi, got my Kadet kit for Shadow 2 SA and it is good so far, not all ammo is great with is but CCI and SK is just perfect.
Anyway, sights are not good for my eyes, can't see front one while shooting in indoor range. Any suggestion on replacing them? I will paint for now but that is not permanent solution. I am sure small reddot is the best but will add more weight to the slide and as result pistol performance on some ammo might be worse. Thanks!

I feel your pain. I put some white paint on the front sight and it did help, but I had heard that after market sights will not work. Not sure if that is true, so if anyone else here has had that experience, please let us know.

That looks as if it would be a good solution.
Haven't bought this yet, but I'm leaning that way myself
It's not so bad while shooting outdoors
But like a lot of us, while shooting indoors; my 65+ Eyes are finding it harder and harder to see even the Bright(est) Red Fingernail Polish I've been using up to now
So tell me again how Trump was worse then the 8 years before .... AND what's coming after HIM !
