p-10s OR optics and plate question

so i happened across a P-10s OR and purchased it on the fly.  have a quick question on plates and optics

Plates;  anyone use the 401 Manufacturing plate and are they a sound option?
Optics:  I don't want to spend a ton, but thinking the Holosun 507c (is it worth the v2) also anyone using the vortex venom? seems it can be had far cheaper than the Holosun? any other good not so expensive options.  I have never used a handgun optic so this is new to me. my EDC is a rami so this is more of a range and backup EDC i suppose.
Pinky base plate: any good pinky base plates like there are for the rami?

I have a 401 manufacturing red plate I was selling from my p10f.  Worked with no issues but be aware the 507c v1 and v2 need different plates versions from them.  The screw size wont fit the v2.  I had to purchases a different plate.

No problems with their plate. It does look slightly different if you care about that.  Red one below is the v1 401 version. And the second one is the one I bought somewhere else. Notice the different front design.

Has anyone used a pierce XD pinky grip? I had an extra from my RAMI and it fit the p-10s mag base with some finesse   Need to drill a hole for the pin release to secure. Anyone use these on their p-10s’

I use my P10S as my EDC, thus no need for any grip extensions - they would defeat the purpose of having a concealable gun, For shooting it at the range and for home defense, I use Hyve +3 extension.
My pistol has a Holosun 507C Green dot (this is an OR pistol with the black 401 manufacturing plate)

I have a CZ P-10s and did not care for the 401 plate. I went with the CZ optics ready kit plate from Midwayusa. It appears to be a CZ plate made of  steel and the 401 plate is aluminum. (1)My personal preference was a steel plate. (2) The space in front of the optics should not look as if its a missing material to save a few pennies.  Visual aesthetics  is importance if I have to look at the gun.(3) price...$28.xx just doesn't break the bank! My 401 plate fits perfectly, without any empty space between the plate and the slide as it was factory made for that purpose.

I went with a CZ Custom plate for my P-10C OR.  Works like it is supposed  to.

thanks everyone for the help.  I came across a good deal on a Vortex Venom 6 MOA for my aging eyes.  Also went ahead and ordered the plate and sights from Midway.  Not sure I will install the sights or not but figured I would get them to try.  Quick question regarding the sights. are they fairly easy to remove the OEM and replace with the slightly higher ones that come with the plate? looks pretty straight forward.

The 401 uses m4 threads which is rather large.
