I hate prone

Prone, bipod, no rear bag, 200m. 2 degrees Celsius. I had a little luck and won a small regional match today.

Excellent!  I guess your ammo worked out OK?  And your trigger finger, and your nerves, and your rifle?  All good, congrats.

I like prone just fine.  It is getting up after shooting prone that I have trouble with!  And no rear bag would be a problem for me.  I'd have to learn to coordinate breathing and shooting!

I had luck that's all. I was shooting Berger VLDs with Vihta Vuori N555, however the load was tested at 100m giving consistent 0,5 MOA. I did not test the load at 200 m and  I did not chronograph the load- it was my main mistake. I was using ballistic app to calculate my shift in POI and the indications the app gave were wrong. Therefore, shooting this match was pure trial and error. With my first shot I was too low of 5 clicks. So, I had to re-zero the scope while shooting.
And lack of rear bag is an issue for me. My setup rifle+scope weights over 16 pounds and I find it difficult to stabilize the reticle without a rear bag.

Congrats for such a great accomplishment!

I can’t do prone due to my lower back problem. It’s just too painful for me.
