Kadet on a CGW pro package

Without doing my proper research I bought a kadet 2 kit to put on an SP01 that has the pro package. Is it pretty much a guarantee that it will not function properly? If so, I will just sell it before I bother fitting it. I have a regular 75 in polished that is stock, but I primarily bought it to use on my SP01 and am not sure I feel its worth it if I can only use it on one of my CZs.

17 lb hammer spring is all you need.

Thanks for the replies guys. How significantly does this change the trigger? Is this something I can easily install myself? I had CGW do all the work to the guns. Ive looked at some breakdowns of tearing down the gun and it scares me a bit, not gonna lie.

   Chaining a Hammer Spring in a CZ 75 variant is rather straight forward. If you run into trouble there are many forum members that can assist. As a general rule of thumb, increasing or decreasing the Hammer Spring weight, will change the Single Action by ounces and the Double Action by pounds.

   As long as the Hammer Spring is of sufficient weight the source is not real significant. If you sent your CZ into CGW to have the Pro Package installed, they may have shipped the orignal factory parts back to you with your pistol. The factory weight Hammer Spring may be included with these parts. It may be worth while to try the factory spring if you have it and see how it suits you.

I would try first change the firing pin spring on the Kadet. Find one that fits from the ballpoint pen. It may work well with CGW installed 13lb mainspring. If too many light-strikes, then increase mainspring to 15-17lb.

If you use too light of a Firing Pin Spring, you can run the risk of loosing the Firing Pin Stop, so be careful there

If you do not have the OEM parts that CGW removed, try the Wolff 17lb Hammer Spring, #28917
Note: the Factory Hammer Spring is 19lb

This is a real possibility. Happened to me. Luckily I was at an indoor range.

To the OP...doesn't really matter who's spring you use. In my experience, the heavier spring affects the SA pull very little, and the DA pull much more.

One question on this I would like to confirm - does the CGW short reset system arm lifter also work with the Kadet 2 kit?  I ask since the CGW SRS kits come with the "low lift" firing pin that work with the arm lifter, and I assume there is no equivalent "low lift" firing pin for the Kadet.  I would like to improve the reset on my P01 but not cause issues when using the Kadet 2.

   The 22LR Kadet kit slides do not have a Firing Pin Block, but they do have a relief cut for the FPB Lifter Arm. Once the Kadet kit is installed the FPB Lifter Arm will continue to actuate when you pull the Trigger but it will not act on anything.
