P 07 ejector/slide interference
« on: January 20, 2021, 03:13:35 AM »
I did a brief search, and didn’t find any related results. Please forgive me if I missed it.

While cleaning my P07 today I found a small perming on the bottom of the slide, and what looks like corresponding wear on the tip of the ejector.

Is that normal wear, or is it likely to prematurely wear the ejector?

Your pictures are HUGE! it will help to resize them and let us have a better look at what you are concerned with.

NVM- It’s slight marring from when they set the extractor pin. Opposite side of the slide from the ejector.

That's correct.  That's how they stake the extractor pin to prevent it from backing out.  At some point you'll be wanting to drive that pin out, from the top, and clean behind your extractor.

What I’m really impressed with is this pistol has about 1K of .40 run through it, and 700-1K of .22.

When cleaned up the internals look almost brand new.
