Earl, you are absolutely right. It is `1.5 oz, but with weight of a concealed gun the story is somewhat similar to temperature. You always have a specific temperature and then "it feels like" temperature. It is 1.5 oz but it feels like a lot more. I have both and that comes from experience.

I don’t know what are the head on dimensions of the RAMI versus the P-10S but I think the grip profile of the RAMI gives it that “bulky” feeling.

I suspect that's the case. I don't have a P10S to measure, but published measurements show them within . 01 in overall width with the Rami being thinner. I'm not advocating for the Rami, I have one and like it far more than I expected to. As for others, to each his own. I do see a particular advantage in the P356XL. . .higher capacity, considerably slimmer and 4 or 5 oz lighter empty. If I we're going to carry IWB, the Sig would win hands down. I used to carry a Shield 45 IWB, but find the Rami OWB to be almost ideal for my needs. This discussion reminds me of the P-01/P07 debate years ago. People would pick the 07 based on it's lighter weight, but it wasn't lighter when we weighed them.

You better hit the gym and start eating your Wheaties if 1.5 oz. of superiority is making you wheeze...

5 oz is 5 oz - on paper it may not be much but in carrying that extra 5 oz in the IWB holster it makes huge difference.

the difference is 1.5 oz, not 5 oz.

With the Rami being discontinued (sucks) other than the recoil spring, which replacement parts are unique to the Rami for future maintenance and repair ?

I think the Rami is so under rated and if more ppl were to shoot one they’d sell way more

Thx
Earl
Even though it is being discontinued, parts should still be available for some time.

The far majority of the action parts are standard cz 75 parts. I think the slide stop is different.

Cheers,
Toby

They need to make a polymer P07 sub, think of the sphinx alpha subcompact but in an all polymer. Better still thin it out even some more!

Supposedly, there’s been tinkering on a next generation Omega system to “thin” it out, whatever that implies.
