P10c Backstrap issues
« Reply #15 on: April 17, 2021, 10:54:41 PM »
CZ responded promptly to my email about my M and L backstraps.

They asked for the SN and such and I gave it to them, after a day or two they advised me they
were shipping me another new large backstop but the medium one was on backorder however once stock
is replenished it will be forwarded to me promptly.

I received the large replacement today with another new roll pin...

Now comes my issue, I am honestly pretty upset about this because I used the correct roll pin punch (Brownells No. 2 5/64ths) to move the old one, and used the roll pin starter punch (Brownells again) also for the new pin into the new large backstop.

Well the roll pin went in and through the first hole in the backstrap and then went crooked and did this!!!

This pistol has less than 50 rounds though it I am just upset I have somehow damaged the actual frame of the firearm!

I had ZERO clue it was trying to go into the second hole mis-aligned. And to top it all off the new large backstrap is lose too.
It pivots top to bottom after the new pin was installed from the other direction to be sure it went into the hols it was supposed to be in.

I am going to email CZ and see what they say...

I am guessing I'll be sending it to them to see what they can do for it.

So once I received the shipping information and sent it out CZ had my back strap issue fixed in one week. I will be getting it back soon. Glad they also do a test fire of the weapon to make it sure all is well.

I hope they get yours sorted.
