Primary Machine compensators?
« on: April 09, 2021, 02:01:14 AM »
I was reading the thread on PM barrels earlier so decided to check out their website.  I noticed that they also make compensators for their threaded barrels.  My question is this: I don't imagine there are too many folks making a full race gun out of a P series CZ so why would someone put a comp on one?  It's not like you need one for the 9mm's recoil.  Unless it's just for a range toy experience.  Any and all opinions are welcome.

Lol same reason people are putting them on G19s to make the “rolands special” because they look cool and some gun “expert” told them it would help mitigate recoil. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Once I installed a threaded barrel on my P10c (for use with a suppressor) I figured I'd try a couple micro comps instead of thread protectors to see if they really work. I tried both a Griffin Armaments and an HB Industries comp.  Truth be told, I really couldn't feel much if any difference in recoil impulse.  I can't speak for bigger and likely more capable comps tho.
