Satin nickel factory finish has a very slight yellowish tint.

Aftermarket I don't know anything about.

I look to see if the safety ,takedown and rear sight are blue , they should not be nickel. Also the  retainer for the takedown spring on the right side just front the takedown. Many refinishers don’t remove this part

Eastman, I just came across a Pre-B surplus from Israel that looks like a satin nickel, but I am not sure if it is a refinish.  Are there any telltale signs you look for on an original versus refinish?

one sign that can be found on some refinish jobs is the polishing/sanding in prep for refinishing reduces the depth of the markings, so if the serial numbers, model name, etc are fainter than usual, it could be a refinish.
