Fun IDPA day with my P10c
« on: April 10, 2021, 08:20:32 PM »
Shot a local match with my P10c today. Came in second in my division and was the top senior. The gun ran like a top, shooting where I aimed. The few points down were due to my rushing the shot. Was down zero on several stages.

Only upgrades are a set of night fision sights.

Am struggling to decide which of the two striker guns I favor to shoot in this years state match, the P10c or my SIG 320. Based on today, am leaning towards the P10c.  Last year I shot my SP01T and had a hoot.

Overall a fun day

Had a SP01T as well and it’s a great gun, just a little heavy.  P10c is good too!!

Congratulations.  We like to praise the CZ guns here, but ultimately it is the shooter who makes the shot.  Shot my first ASI match this year on Thursday.  Was no where near the winner, but only had one down and like you I was letting the shot go before I should have. Was using a 75 SA.

Again congratulations. Great shooting.

Shooting at Wades in Bellvue.  They have two matches a month.  I am shooting with my bosses wife, who is new to shooting and we are both having a blast.  She only had two non alphas all night.  Pretty good for shooting for less than 8 months and we had to take the last two months off.

That’s great- I too have often encouraged new shooters to try ASI. I enjoy it as I’m able to shoot guns I can’t use in IDPA, like my S&W 617 or Ruger mkII. It’s also rewarding mentoring new shooters and watching them perform and the smiles

Congrats, TO.  Great result!  Glad you all got to go to a match.  I liked IDPA until we got in to bullseye, which is better suited for us old guys who are too impatient to watch other people shoot.

I shoot IDPA now and then, shot a match last Saturday in fact with my P10C w/ RMR.  I like IDPA as a good opportunity to shoot a match with my EDC gun and gear.  So it’s either my P10C or Sig 365XL.  The only down side is I carry AIWB and so far IDPA has not allowed that mode of carry.

Shot it again in another club’s idpa match. Did reasonably well coming in 3d in my division/ classification. Was in the top 3d overall.  Was a fun day with spectacular weather. Cant think of a better way to spend the day :D

Only challenge I had was with my reloads- not the guns fault as some were a little long. Other than that, the gun ran like a champ.

Another good idpa match with my P10c. Despite the miserable weather- continuous rain, came in 2nd in my division/ classification today. The gun simply works for me, am happy to have got one.
