SP-01 Phantom Questions
« on: April 29, 2021, 02:41:42 PM »
Just a quick question.  Anyone else have an issue with the roll pins walking out right above the trigger after shooting?  I tapped them in myself and it walked out, had a gun Smith tap them in and they still walked out.  What's the best fix?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The floating trigger pin from CGW is one of my must have mods when smith'n a CZ.  It makes teardown a breeze.

Cheers,

Glad to help a fellow newbie   :)

Those items along with a "Canik trigger" from CGW resolved two issues for my Phantom, the trigger bite and the trigger pin walking out. In looking at the CGW website this morning, I do not see the Canik listed now. In its place is the "Phantom Trigger With Over Travel". It appears to be the same configuration as the Canik but you may want to contact CGW to find out if that is the replacement trigger for the Canik. The only reason I mention this is because if you are doing the floating pin you may as well install the trigger at the same time, since that trigger pin has to come our anyway. In my case the trigger bite was happening after about fifty rounds or so.

Happy shooting!
