I think that there is a lightened upper in the classifieds now.

Are those the CZ Brass grips?

I like that fully adjustable rear sight too.  That's one thing about my Tanfoglios that I like over my CZs.

Though it seems I've never read about any fully adjustable rear sight that isn't capable of disassembling itself after a few thousand rounds.

yes, thick long OEM CZUB brass grips.
gun without magazine is 1420 grams (50 ounces).
adjustable sight was mounted at least 5000 rounds ago (probably more), still standing strong.

i ended using brass grips not because i want more weight, anybody can solve that by correct grip.
for me, gun centre of gravity with stock grips was always at the muzzle no matter how strong grip is, i felt unconfortable.
with brass grips it feels natural, gun sits in hard more like stock cz 75.

That's the first time I've seen a standard CZ75 grip on a Shadow 2.

I've been looking at these lately:

can't open link because im in europe, but i think you posted original shadow2 grips in brass.
i was thinking aboutabout them,  maybe they look even better,  but a bit thin for me.
i have big hand so additional thickness is good thing.

all 75 grips suits shadow 2.

I prefer the S2 grips though because they cover that sharp corner just above the beavertail.

On my S1s I get bit by that sometimes.

It shoots great.  I love the flat trigger.  The DA reach is long, but I don't mind in the least.  The SA is just under 2lbs.

So still not done I guess.  Now with gas pedal slide stop and i ground the cz custom trigger because flat should be flat.

Still need to do an optic cut slide, I think. Maybe then it will be done.

I have the same slide stop on mine. It's a great addition except that the serrations were like a meat grinder on my thumb before I got through with half of the days allotted ammo.

I took it home and machined off the serrations to a perfectly smooth platform and re blued it. Now its perfect.

If I could figure out how to post pictures on this site I would show you how it turned out.

So my S2 is finally done with everything that I can think I want.

LOK grips
Cajun Pro kit with 10x bushing
CZC DA/SA trigger that I ground flat
Gas pedal slide stop
2nd slide with 10x bushing machined by CGW for a DPP/Sig Romeo Pro

Maybe a threaded barrel in the future... ;)
